Pilgrim's mission team could not travel to Tanzania in April 2020 because of the pandemic. But thanks to the redundancy built into the project by Pilgrim's missionary Dr. Steve Friberg, and thanks to support from Pilgrim, Westminster Presbyterian and Superior Rotary, the hospital still got built.  It includes a digital x-ray machine. Years ago Dr. Friberg took some bright Masai boys under his wings and helped them get well educated. They are now the radiologists in the hospital. The hospital serves 170,000 people.
